A walking tour of the beautiful city of Edinburgh, with a few Shakespearean surprises on the way
The EUSC is very excited to open tickets for their first Travelling Shakespeare - a walking tour of the beautiful city of Edinburgh, with a few Shakespearean surprises on the way!
There are four walks per day, leaving every half an hour between 2-4pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April. Please buy your tickets for the group you wish to attend. There is a limit of 20 people per group. You may not attend a walk slot that does not match your ticket purchase. No late arrivals are allowed to catch up to the previous walk or wait till the next for insurance reasons. Please direct any ticket issues to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please arrive to the square outside St Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile ten minutes before your slot start time. All instructions and walking guides will be provided on arrival. Please note the entirety of the tour is outside with limited opportunity to take shelter; we are expecting reasonable weather but do make sure you are appropriately dressed and have decent footwear. The entire walk will take approximately 90 minutes.
Unfortunately, some parts of the event do require climbing and descending stairs, so we do not recommend attending if you have trouble walking long distances or covering these more difficult terrains.
To keep the route secret, we cannot say explicitly where the walk will finish, however it will not be too far from St Giles and stays relatively central.
We look forward to sharing this new and exciting event with you; it truly displays the wealth of talent of the Edinburgh theatre scene, performing some of Shakespeare’s best works.
It's not possible to book tickets for Travelling Shakespeare at the moment. Please check back soon.
